Senior software engineer with production experience at Amazon Pharmacy (formerly PillPack) and a founder background — raised $2M in venture capital and took a D2C product from zero to market. Currently building and shipping full-stack applications (Angular, Firebase, Node.js) as both a solo technical founder and a consulting engineer. Product intuition and systems thinking matter as much as code quality.

Professional Experience

Consulting Engineer — Beauty Forward
  • Designing and engineering the full platform for a beauty startup from the ground up. Built an Uber-style courier system, warehouse management system, and data visualization dashboard.

Founder & CEO — Waeve
  • Raised $2M in venture capital from Pillar VC, Maveron, and angel investors including former Glossier executives. Led a team of 8 across engineering, brand, and operations.
  • Made all technical platform decisions: selected and configured Shopify as the commerce layer, evaluated and attempted a migration to a headless commerce architecture in collaboration with Glossier's CTO, and managed the rollback when the integration proved premature for our scale.
  • Designed and prototyped a virtual try-on feature using Blender and 8th Wall (WebAR), writing the product spec and collaborating with a contract engineer to ship the initial version.
  • Managed the full product lifecycle: vendor selection, technical scoping, QA, and launch. Operated as the bridge between non-technical cofounders and external engineering resources.
  • Featured in Vogue, The Today Show, and Essence. Won $30K across Williams College and MIT Sandbox pitch competitions.

Software Engineer — PillPack / Amazon Pharmacy
  • Built APIs for the billing microservice, writing secure, HIPAA-compliant code that handled insurance claims processing, payment workflows, and regulatory data.
  • Contributed to the migration from a monolithic Ruby application to a microservices architecture in Go during PillPack's integration into Amazon Pharmacy.
  • Participated in high-level systems design discussions with Amazon teams in Seattle, contributing to architecture decisions for the new pharmacy platform.
  • Grew from a team of 3 to managing a scope that covered a team of 10, accumulating significant ownership and responsibility for someone two years out of college.
  • Obtained HIPAA certification and implemented secure workflows meeting pharmacy industry and insurance compliance standards.
§ 02 — Projects

Technical Projects

Gist
  • Solo-built a full-stack application that pulls a user's Gmail, Google Calendar, news, and weather, then generates a personalized AI-condensed morning briefing.
  • Integrated Stripe (subscriptions + webhooks), Claude (briefing generation), Gmail/Calendar OAuth (server-side code exchange), and Resend (transactional email).
  • Built with Angular 17 (standalone components), Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth), and TypeScript. Designed a fail-open billing gate, idempotency on duplicate generation, and Firestore security rules.
